The Curl Manifesto line includes no less than 7 products for a great home routine! But don't worry, you don't have to use all 7 products. In this line you can make a selection to create a good routine for your curl type!

Is Kérastase Curl Manifesto Curly Girl/CG proof?
A very well-known trend in hair care is the Curly Girl Method. Curl Manifesto products are not specially designed for this but some of them do comply with the Curly Girl Method.
These products from Curl Manifesto are CG:

So you could add these products to your own CG proof routine.
The other products contain ingredients that are not recommended for the CG method. All products from Kérastase Curl Manifesto are completely free from sulfates and mineral oils.
Different curl types
I already mentioned it briefly, but you can divide hair into different types of curls. At Kérastase they also use different types of curls and have added several products for them. In short you have 3 different types of curls; Wavy, Curly and coily/Afro hair. Each type of curl has its own needs in terms of care and styling and we have created the following routines for each.
Care routines per curl type
The products from Curl Manifesto can be mixed and matched to create the perfect routine for your hair type. With these routines you have a good base to get the most out of your curls!
Curl type 2: Wavy
With curl type 2: Wavy; you will need to get your hair in optimal condition to get the curls you want. Here, you will use the shampoo and conditioner to get the hair in top condition. Then you use the Gelée Gel cream to mould the hair into the curl. This gel cream gives the hair extra hydration, but also accentuates and strengthens the curl shape. These products do not add weight, so the curl will not sag!
Curl type 3: Curly hair
The more curls in your hair, the more moisture and nutrition your hair needs. With curl type 3, you should replace the conditioner with a mask that feeds your hair more intensively. Your curls need less support from a styling product, which is why the gelée is replaced with the crème de jour fondamentale.
If you have thinner hair and your curl sags quickly, you can still use the Curl Manifesto Gelée to complement this package.
Curl type 4: Coily / Afro hair
For type 4 hair, coily or afro hair, there is an extra addition to the curl type 3 package, namely the huile sublime repair this nourishing hair oil is good for hair and scalp. In the hair, the oil makes the hair easier to unravel and to model. Would you like to shape your curls even more, you can use the Curl Manifesto Gelée as an addition to this package.
2nd day Curls! Curl Manifesto Refresh Absolute
You probably don't want to wash your hair every day, but your curly hair might need a refresher after a few days. You want to restore hydration and give your curl more shape. This is why Curl Manifesto Refresh Absolu was developed! By rehydrating your hair, you reduce frizz and keep your hair healthier. Simply spray the Refresh Absolu on your hair and knead it into your curls. Then you and your curls are good to go!
