How do you cleanse your face the right way? It starts with knowing your skin type so you can choose the right and appropriate products. Once you have found suitable products, you can start cleansing your face optimally. The order of steps can sometimes be confusing, so we are happy to share a basic step-by-step plan with you:

• Step 1: Wash your hands! This may seem redundant, but clean hands prevent your face from getting dirty again.
• Step 2: First, remove your make-up with a lotion, oil or milk (which is specially designed for make-up removal) to remove superficial dirt and make-up.
• Step 3: Next, wash your face, neck and neck with lukewarm water and massage in the cleanser. Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse off. This removes residual dirt, cleanses pores and conditions the skin.

• Step 4: Use a towel to gently pat your face dry. Avoid rubbing hard to avoid damaging the skin.
• Step 5: Use a toner. A toner prepares your skin for the next steps in your routine.

• Step 6: Apply a serum, these can now be optimally absorbed by the skin.

• Step 7: Finish with a day or night cream. Because your pores are clean, the cream can now do its best work.
