Good for fine hair
Goed voor fijn haar
Great to use together with the Volupt shamppoo, givesr more strength to fine hair, does not stick and weighs down.

Fine mousse, but nothing special

I have been using the Sebastian Mousse Forte for a few weeks now. I have a curly bob line and the promise of a volume booster made me very curious. My hair tends to collapse quickly on top of my head. So I am always looking for products that give my hair more volume. I think the Sebastian Mousse Forte is an excellent mousse. It does not stick and distributes pleasantly in your hands and in your hair. The smell and look are a little too masculine for my taste, but that's a matter of taste.
When I let my hair dry, I do not suffer from hard strands due to the mousse (which I have with other brands). In terms of volume, I am not wildly enthusiastic. I don't find the mousse firming enough to create a nice full head of curls all over my head. A pity, because that is precisely why I had chosen this mousse.

Mijn haar heeft de neiging om bovenop mijn hoofd snel in te zakken. Ik ben dus altijd op zoek naar producten die mijn haar meer volume geven. Ik vind de Sebastian Mousse Forte een prima mousse. Het plakt niet en verdeelt zich prettig in je handen en in je haar. De geur en de uitstraling zijn naar mijn smaak iets te mannelijk, maar dat is een kwestie van smaak.
Wanneer ik mijn haar laat opdrogen heb ik geen last van harde plukken door de mousse (wat ik bij andere merken wel heb). Qua volume ben ik niet laaiend enthousiast. Ik vind de mousse niet verstevigend genoeg om te zorgen voor een mooie volle krullenbos over mijn hele hoofd. Jammer, want dat is de reden waarom ik juist deze mousse had gekozen.

I was sent the canister a while ago and have now used the product once. The canister has a stylish matt black colour, is slim in shape which makes it nice to hold. The canister states that this mousse provides extra volume.
After washing my hair, I use the mousse on towel-dried hair. The foam feels compact and nice and firm, has a pleasant texture and a lovely subtle slightly sweet fragrance.
The mousse distributes easily on my hair and in itself, this is not much different from the foam I normally use. My hair is dark blonde and very thin, so volume and hold is especially important to me. I often wear my hair fixed and it has to stay in place, otherwise I never use hairspray, so mousse is a must for me.
I like the way the mousse works in my hair. My hair feels firmer, less sleek but not really much different from when I use any other mousse. What I do notice is that my hair feels nice and soft.
Conclusion with the pluses:
- Lovely smell!!!
- On the hand, the mousse has a pleasant compact texture.
- The mousse makes my hair feel firm, but mostly soft.
Downside:

Ik heb de bus een poosje geleden opgestuurd gekregen en heb het product nu één keer gebruikt. De bus heeft een stijlvolle matzwarte kleur, is slank van vorm waardoor de bus fijn in de hand ligt. Op de bus staat vermeld dat deze mousse voor extra volume zorgt.
Na het haren wassen gebruik ik de mousse op handdoekdroog haar. De schuim voelt compact en lekker stevig aan, heeft een aangename structuur en een heerlijke subtiele licht zoete geur.
De mousse verdeelt gemakkelijk over mijn haar en op zich gaat dit niet veel anders dan de schuim die ik normaal gebruik. Mijn haar is donkerblond en erg dun, daarom is volume en versteviging voor mij extra belangrijk. Ik draag mijn haar vaak vast en dat moet goed blijven zitten, verder gebruik ik nooit haarlak en daarom is mousse voor mij een must.
De werking van de mousse in mijn haar vind ik prima. Mijn haar voelt steviger, minder sluik maar eigenlijk niet echt veel anders dan wanneer ik een willekeurige andere mousse gebruik. Wat mij wel opvalt is dat mijn haar lekker zacht aanvoelt.
Conclusie met de pluspunten:
• Heerlijke geur!!!
• Op de hand heeft de mousse een aangename compacte structuur.
• Mijn haar voeltdoor de mousse stevig, maar vooral zacht.

For about 2 weeks now, I have been using this mousse every time I blow dry my fetch. I really like a subtle but well-shaped mousse and was very curious about this mousse. The mousse is pleasant on my hands, does not stick and is easy to distribute on my wet hair. I use the hair dryer to dry my hair and then it feels nice and smooth with a good portion of volume, no hard strands due to dried mousse (plus point!).
When I then style my hair with a curling iron it goes easily, the blow remains subtly present all day but looks fresh and definitely not greasy.

Sinds ongeveer 2 weken gebruik ik deze mousse elke keer als ik mijn halen föhn. Ik vind een subtiele maar goedvormende mousse heel prettig en was erg benieuwd naar deze mousse. De mousse is prettig op mijn handen, plakt niet en is makkelijk te verdelen over mijn natte haar. Met de föhn maak ik maar haar droog en vervolgens voelt het fijn en glad met een goede portie volume, geen harde strengen door opgedroogde mousse (pluspunt!).
Als ik mijn haar vervolgens met een krultang in model breng gaat dit gemakkelijk, de slag blijft subtiel aanwezig de hele dag maar oogt fris en zeker niet vet.

I have been using the mousse for some time now and I really like it! It does what it is supposed to do. Handy and the cap works well. With little force, the foam already comes hour the bottle.
What appeals most to me is the appearance! Nice modern look, which again looks nice in the bathroom. No ugly bright colours, but a sleek/modern look.

Ik gebruik de mousse nu al enige tijd en het bevalt prima! Het doet wat het moet doen. Handzaam en de dop werkt goed. Met weinig kracht komt de schuim al uur de fles.
Wat mij nog het meest aanspreekt is het uiterlijk! Mooie moderne uitstraling, wat nog eens mooi in de badkamer staat. Geen lelijke felle kleuren, maar een strak/modern uiterlijk.
