The genesis of LastObject

Last Object was founded by Isabel Aagaard, designer and environmentally conscious by nature. Her frustration with single-use products made her decide to do something about this. Thus, Isabel searched for an innovative solution and developed LastObject in 2018. In this way, she hopes to set a good example and convince/inspire people to opt for a more sustainable life. Thus, their mission is: to counter and eliminate single-use items by replacing them with reusable sustainable alternatives. With the aim : to provide the world with sustainable choices.

LastObject LastSwab

Every year, up to 500 billion single-use cotton swabs are thrown away, and all for just a few seconds of use. These cotton swabs alone are devastating to marine life. LastObject has changed that. In fact, they are the first in the world to develop reusable cotton swabs, which you easily clean with water and possibly soap.

This makes it easy to apply or remove your make-up as you normally would with a cotton swab. The difference? This one lasts no less than 1,000 times. Good for both yourself and the environment!

LastSwab Baby

The LastSwab baby is a reusable cotton swab as an alternative to a single-use cotton swab. The ends are specially designed with a perfect shape and size to avoid going too deep. This way, your child is well protected. It lasts as many as 1,000 times and not only good for yourself but also for the environment! LastObject LastRound

The LastRound is the perfect alternative to makeup pads. The swabs consist of 70% Scandinavian wood fibre and 30% cotton fibre. It feels stiff when dry but when wet it feels just like a normal pad as you are used to. Use it to take off your make-up or to cleanse your face. Enjoy the wonderful light exfoliation when using the pads.

The LastObject laundry bag is perfect for washing your LastRounds without them getting mixed up with your other laundry. It can also easily be used to wash other reusable products.

Why are the products made from recycled ocean plastic?

There are about 8 million tonnes of plastic floating around in the oceans, which is, of course, absurd. Because of this, LastObject has chosen to take plastic from the ocean and recycle it. This reduces plastic pollution and contributes to marine protection. Their supplier is therefore the first to have received the ocean-bound plastic certificate.
